The model 50X has a 1650 watt heating element, compared to the Model 25X which has a 1050 watt heating element. This increased heating capacity means that the units will get up to operating temperature far quicker than the 25X.

The Model 50X has all new electrical controls and the thermostat is designed to hold a much tighter operating band over the 25X. Therefore, there will be less variation as the thermostat turns the heating element on and off to maintain a certain level of heat.

Furthermore, the 50X includes a mechanical timing device on the control box. All in all, the 50X offers added value and greater capacity.

Ultrasonic Flowmeter FD-7000

Up to now, Doppler ultrasonic flow meters have required significant quantities of suspended particles or gas bubbles to reflect sound signals. Now, with the Model FD-7000 Ultrasonic Flowmeter, this is no longer required. When the FD-7000 is used to measure the flow of liquids containing suspended solids or bubbles, the transducers are mounted on a straight run of pipe in the same manner as other ultrasonic meters.

In applications where insufficient “reflectors” exist (a condition indicated by a low reading on the FD-7000’s Flow Analyzer bar graph), the transducers are relocated to a point in the piping where non-symmetrical hydraulic turbulence will be present – ideally just downstream of a 90-degree elbow. The FD-7000’s unique digital filtering system and signal recognition circuitry transforms the reflections from this non-symmetrical, and not necessarily linear, turbulence into a useable and linear data format.

A backlit, 2 line by 20 character, alphanumeric LCD offers simultaneous flowrate and totalizer displays. The FD-7000 is designed for ease of use in the field. Only a few simple keypad entries are required to configure the flowmeter for any given pipe and flow measurement application. The encapsulated, submersible design of the transducer sensor head allows it to be easily mounted to the pipe surface with the coupling compound and elastic bands that are supplied with the unit.

A 20 ft. (6 meter) retractable cable for connection to the transmitter/indicator unit is supplied as as integral part of the sensor. The FD-7000 sensor is utilized on pipes that range in internal diameter from 25 to 3048 mm (1 to 120"). Flowrates can be measured in smaller pipes from 6 to 25 mm ( 1 /4 to 1") in diameter with use of the small pipe sensor, model FD-7000-S1. These units are not to be used for distilled water or ultra clean water applications.

Ultrasonic Flowmeter FD-7000 is made in USA and advertised at www.omega.com.

Portable Doppler: Ultrasonic Flowmeter, FD613

The FD610 Series ultrasonic flow meter is made in USA and advertised at www.omega.com. It has features advanced Trans-Phase measuring technology, providing accurate and reliable flow velocity assessments in closed piping systems. The FD610 Series utilizes a non-invasive clamp-on transducer which is placed on the outside of a pipe. Within seconds, the large 18 mm (0.7") LCD provides stable flow rate readings in feet per second or meters per second. This product operates on metal or plastic pipes containing liquids with more than 100 ppm of 100 micron or larger suspended solids or entrained gases.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The FD610 Series flow meter utilizes an advanced Trans-Phase measuring technique, providing accurate, non-invasive fluid velocity assessment without opening the pipe. The FD610 Series utilizes two piezoelectric crystals contained within one transducer to transmit ultrasonic energy into the fluid stream and receive back energy reflected off discontinuities (suspended particles or entrained gases) within the moving liquid. Transformations that result from the energy reflections are processed and converted to a measurement of fluid velocity by the sophisticated software algorithm. The processor also controls all operations of the instrument from its ultra-efficient battery management circuitry to a proprietary FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filtration program.

The HeartStart FR2+ Defibrillator from Philips

As the definitive treatment for the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, defibrillatior consists of delivering a therapeutic dose of electrical energy to affect the heart to be worked. It depolarizes a critical mass of the heart muscle, terminates the arrhythmia, and allows normal sinus rhythm to be reestablished by the body's natural pacemaker, in the sinoatrial node of the heart.

Defibrillators can be external, transvenous, or implanted, depending on the type of device used. Some external units, known as automated external defibrillators (AEDs), automate the diagnosis of treatable rhythms, meaning that lay responders or bystanders are able to use them successfully with little, or in some cases no, training.

There are so many companies produced Automatic External Defibrillator. Koninklijke Philips Electronic N.V. is one of them who produces a Automatic External Defibrillators. They produce a HeartStart FR2+ Defibrillator.

The HeartStart FR2+ Defibrillator has come to be a trusted tool of professional responders and designated response teams in the workplace and public settings. Its clean, uncluttered design is optimized for fast, efficient operation and rapid delivery of life-saving therapy. Commands are clear, streamlined, confident, and concise: ideal for responders who are trained, drilled, and ready to save a life now.

Here is the feature of HeartStart FR2+ Defibrillator:

  • Biphasic therapy
  • Automated defibrillation, with manual override
  • SMART Analysis
  • SMART CPR and Quick Shock
  • Pediatric defibrillation (infant/child pads)
  • Conscious monitoring (3-Lead ECG, optional)
  • Two display options: text-only, and text with ECG
  • Voice and text prompts
  • Data collection and programmable voice recording
  • Automated self-tests
  • "Ready-for-Use" indicator
  • Long-life battery: 300 shocks (min.) or 12 hrs. monitoring
